Air companies

The main civil airport of the province of Catania is "Filippo Eredia" in Catania - Fontanarossa, 20 Km. far from Acireale.
From there you can reach daily all the main italian and international cities.

Sea lines

The nearest ports are in Catania (16 Km.) and in Messina (80 Km.).

Capo Mulini is an hamlet which belongs to Acireale, has a small tourist harbour, consisting of surface buoy mooring with 70 berths with minimal depth of 1.5 meters and a maximum length of 11 meters.

Stazzo is an hamlet which belongs to Acireale, has some tourist harbours are run by Ditta Cafarella Nunzia and by Società Nautica Service A r.l.
The first one consist of surface buoy mooring, the second harbour consist of floating wharves with 35 berths and 50 berths with minimal depth of two meters and a maximum length of 11 meters. All the landing piers provide mooring, water, light, vigilance and slipways.

  Acireale is close to the motorway A18 connecting Messina to Catania.
  It is a tollway and has two lanes plus an emergency lane in both directions.

  The motorway A18 provides the following service areas:

  • Tremestieri at Tremestieri junction;
  • S. Teresa di Riva between S. Teresa di Riva junction and Taormina junction;
  • Calatabiano between Calatabiano junction and Fiumefreddo junction;
  • Aci S. Antonio at Aci S. Antonio junction.
