Meatballs with almonds


  • Mincemeat gr. 600
  • breadcrumbs gr. 200
  • a small bunch parsley
  • cheese or grated cheese gr. 50
  • half an onion and one egg
  • ripe tomatoes (or peeled) 4
  • shelled almonds gr. 200
  • oil, salt and pepper.

Meatballs with almonds


Mix the chopped with breadcrumbs soaked and squeezed, egg, parsley, grated cheese.

Shape into patties and fry in a little oblong pan in oil.

Fry in a pan with a little oil the onion, add the tomatoes peeled and seeded, meatballs and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes.

In a mortar meanwhile almonds (which you will have removed the second peel) to reduce them in cream.

Pour the "lactated almond" in the pan, raise the heat to give a boil and remove from heat. Serve hot.
