All the harbours consist of floating wharves with 57 berths, 80 berths and 45 berths with minimal depth of 2 meters, 2 meters and 3 meters. The maximum length is of 12 meters, 11 meters and 12 meters.
Landing piers provide mooring, water, light, vigilance and hygienic services. The landing piers of Oram provide also refueling point fuel and slipways.
Catania lies near the following six highways. The highway 114 connecting Siracusa to Messina, the highway 192 connecting Catania to Enna, the highway 194 connecting Ragusa to Catania, the highway 121 connecting Palermo to Catania, the highway 417 connecting Catania to Gela and the highway 514 connecting Ragusa to Catania.
Catania is crossed by the motorway A19 connecting Palermo to Catania and by the motorway A18 connecting Messina to Catania.
