The Church of Maria Santissima del Carmelo

Built in the XIX century, the Church has not a determinate style.

The front has been several times restored and now it is characterized by a flight of steps of lavic stone and by elegant stone decorations.

The bell-tower has been made in Gothic style and its square structure is decorated with round lancet windows.

The inside has an only nave and still now keeps the most of the original furnitures.

Among these there are numerous statues which are very interesting and among them stand out for their particular refinement those representing San Francesco da Paola (St. Francis of Paola) and the Madonna of Lourdes.

Worthy of particular attention are also the high altar, made of finely worked marble and a painting of best workmanship which represents the Madonna del Carmelo who appears to a friar.
