Tourism in Centuripe
These areas are located in the eastern part of the town where the most impressive remains have been found.
Amongst these findings there is Corradino's castle, or rather what remains of a Roman mausoleum dating back to the Imperial age.
Next to the castle it is possible to visit the remains of the Forum.
Continuing the visit you will find a Hellenistic house, further evidence of the passage of the Greeks in Sicily.
Inside there are several remains of wall paintings and a mosaic with fine geometrical patterns.

Of great beauty is also the customs house, with barrel vaulting, and the thermal spa, both dating back to the time of Imperial Rome.
Finally it is possible to admire further finds and visit the Archaeological Museum.
Many items are displayed inside and amongst them there is Emperor Anthony Pius's marble head, several epigraphs, the remains of a clay sarcophagus with decorations and vases from Centuripe decorated with relief sculptures and tempera paintings.
