The Castle of Alcontres  

Built in the early XVI century, the Castle belonged to Lords of Fiumedinisi before becoming a property of La Rocca family dukes of Alcontres.  

The structure of the building showed two battlemented parts which were more protuberant towards the sea than the rest of the building.

One of these battlemented parts showed a look-out turret too.

Now of the Castle it is possible to admire only the parts which form the flight of steps, the family’s chapel which is the church of St. Joseph, the main door and one of the two battlemented parts.
