Pignoccata

Ingredients:

Cake flour gr. 500, 5 eggs, sugar gr. 200 gr honey. 100, grated orange peel.

Pignoccata  

Preparation:

Mix the flour with the eggs and half the sugar.

Divide the dough into portions and roll it with your hands until it is reduced in tubular strips about an inch in diameter.

Cut the strips into pieces about 1 cm. and fry in hot oil.

When you have fried all the dough, pour the honey in a pan and the remaining sugar and melt them on the stove with half a glass of water.

Remove from heat and turn into the pan fried balls by linking them with honey.

Use a spoon to form small mounds of pignoccata that will place to cool down on a marble table previously greased with a little oil.
