In the agricultural field there are the following products: cereals, olives, legumes and almonds. Sheep and goatish breedings are present too. Handicraft of the stone is industrious too.

Campofiorito, a small centre risen on the slope of the so-called hill of the Calvary, was founded by Stefano Reggio in 1660 in the feud of Batticani. Its founder was named first prince of Campofiorito in 20 October of the same year: from his name derives the name of the small town. About XIX century it turned under the rule of the Branciforte family.

Very important among the monuments are the Church of St. Stefano, erected in 1677 and the Church of St. Giuseppe, built in the XIX century with only one aisle and the remains of the Palace of Scorciavacche dated back to the sixteenth period.
