Tourism in Campofiorito
Campofiorito rises 70 km. far from Palermo, on hill of Calvario painted by green of olive trees and vineyards which are in contrast with honey coloured fields of wheat.
Simple and regular arrangement of road system, which defines structural town scheme, hinges on via Gramsci, extended in lenght, on which is inserted via Calvario which forms a right angle; in this place there is the XVIIth-century Church of Santo Stefano dedicated to patron and also a beautiful feast is dedicated to him: it is kept in the village on 26 December.
The temple, in outside architecture and in inside furniture, shows search of originality, refinement, decoration and precious, characteristics of taste of that time.

In the neighbourhood of it there is the Church of San Giuseppe, of the XIX century, that in its structure praises purity and sternness of lines and shapes.
Monumental patrimony of Campofiorito is complet with ruins of the Castle of Scorciavacche, built in the XVII century, which rise to north-east of centre.
Walking through town streets, along alternate slopes and descents, it respires air of the village which has the peculiarity of a centre devoted to agriculture: incontaminate and extraordinary landscapes, talkative and generous people who make felt tourists at their ease and the beautiful houses, light painted, which reassure looks.
