Slice onions and deep brown in a large pan. When ready add tuna, steak by steak, and put onions on top.
Add white wine, cook on a low flame and cover each steak with tomatoes, capers, salt and fresh ground pepper.
Cover the pan and let cook on a very low flame for about twenty minutes. Serve tuna with its juice and some fresh parsley on top.
