Ingredients: Tuna fish steaks 6, Big onions 2, capers gr. 50, peeled tomatoes gr. 500, a cup of dry white wine, a bundle of parsley, olive oil, salt, pepper. Preparation: Slice onions and deep brown in a large pan. When ready add tuna, steak by steak, and put onions on top. Add white wine, cook on a low flame and cover each steak with tomatoes, capers, salt and fresh ground pepper. Cover the pan and let cook on a very low flame for about twenty minutes. Serve tuna with its juice and some fresh parsley on top. |
